Cuisine Festival introduces US food to Hanoians


The United States CuisineFestival is taking place at the JW Marriott Hanoi hotel from September1-14, as part of activities to mark 20th anniversary of theestablishment of diplomatic relations between the US and Vietnam.



Chef Paul Valenzuela from JW Marriott Scottsdale Camelback Inn Resortand Spa in the US, along with the talented chefs from the JW Caférestaurant of the JW Marriott Hanoi, will introduce hamburger – a famousfood from the US.


The mix of sweetness of the beef, the strong taste of blue cheese fromAmerica, the sour taste of pickled cucumber, the pungency of onion andthe cool taste of tomatoes and lettuce will give guests a feel for theflavour of American cuisine.


Visitors will also have the chance to enjoy baked beef marinated with famous American spices, including birch syrup.


The festival also features numerous other famous American foods fromdifferent localities including Southwest spicy beef, grilled choppedcrab from Maryland, Boston’s creamy seafood soup and traditional applepie for dessert.


The US Cuisine Festival is taking place from noon to 2:30pm and from6pm to 10pm every day at prices from VND770,000 (US$34.26) per person.
