A projectentitled ‘Creating Authentic Vietnamese Masks’ took place at the VietnamFine Arts Museum at 66 Nguyen Thai Hoc Street, Hanoi on September 13,where children had an opportunity to try their hand at makingtraditional masks for the Mid-autumn festival.

Under the instruction of lecturers and students of the Vietnam FineArts University (VFAU), children were introduced to each step in makingthe traditional Mid-autumn festival masks.

The project aims to create a meaningful activity for children at thisMid-autumn Festival and to introduce Vietnamese children with the art ofmaking traditional masks on the special occasion.

The event gathered more than 300 children
