Strengthening tourism cooperation between Viet Nam and India

The 38th PATA Travel Mart 2015 organized by Pacific Asia Travel Association took place at Bangalore International Exhibition Center (BIEC) in Bangalore, India on September 6-8, 2015 with more than 220 booths from 14 countries and 5 territories, more than 7,500 meetings of businesses and seminars.

Viet Nam tourism roadshow in Bangalore

Vietnamese delegation organized Viet Nam tourism booth to promote attractive tourism products and participated in various activities in the framework of event as Opening ceremony, Indonesian Night, tourism seminars, PATA award ceremony and meeting with partners and visitors. Indian press and media were interested in Viet Nam tourism and expected to promote Viet Nam tourism; Indian international tour operators, journalists wanted to explore Viet Nam tourism products and destinations to gather information for promoting Viet Nam tourism and organize tours for Indians to Viet Nam.

Viet Nam tourism roadshow in Mumbai

On this occasion, VNAT in collaboration with Embassy of Viet Nam in India held roadshows in Bangalore City on September 7 and Mumbai City on September 10 in order to strengthen Viet Nam tourism promotion and create opportunities for Vietnamese tourism businesses, hotels to meet with partners and discuss opportunities for cooperation. VNAT introduced the potentials and advantages of Viet Nam tourism with the main product lines (culture, coast, nature based and city-breaks), destinations and new services. Roadshows attracted the participation of important international tour operators as Thomas Cook, TUI, Cox & King, Make My Trip, Via.Com, Balaji Travels, Travel Tours, Chrysalis Holidays, Benchmark, Flight Shop, Voyagers World, Alpline Holidays…
