Photos: The flower market that never sleeps in Saigon

Ho Thi Ky flower market, located in District 10, is the largest flower market in Saigon.

Traders transport flowers from the biggest flower producers in Da Lat and western provinces such as Long An, Dong Thap, and Vinh Long to this market.

The market is open around the clock, but the busiest time is from 0h to 3am.

The 30 year old market supplies the city a huge amount of flowers daily, especially on holidays, Valentine’s Day or International Women’s Day (8/3).

Besides roses, chrysanthemums, and orchids, you can also buy pink or white lotuses at the market.

Most of the sellers are women.

But there are also men.

All of them are busy at work.

After the peak hours, they take a nap.

Saigon is known as a city that never sleeps. So, spending one night here is an interesting experience for any tourist.
