Saigon’s deserted house becomes art district

VietNamNet Bridge – Impressive graffiti paintings have turned a deserted house in Ho Chi Minh City into a favorite destination of young people.

This house is located behind the People’s Committee of District 2, overlooking the Saigon River. The three-storey house is beautified with dozens of graffiti paintings. The house is located far from the city center but it lures many young people who come to paint or take photos. Bui Thuy Trang, a student of the Marketing Finance University said she came here at weekend to take pictures. Finding large walls to draw is difficult in the city, so this house is an attractive place for graffiti painters. New paintings appear on the walls of the house every week. In the afternoon, young people flock to this site to enjoy fresh air. This is also a nice place to watch the sunset in Ho Chi Minh City.
