Foreign posters showed support of Vietnam during the war

VietNamNet Bridge – Released in the Soviet Union, Cuba, Sweden, Finland, Hungary, Italy, and Germany to protest the Vietnam War and cheer Vietnam, these posters are being exhibited at the Museum of National History.

The exhibition “People around the world in solidarity with Vietnam’s struggling for reunification 1954-1975″ is being held at the Museum National History in Hanoi on the occasion of the 40th anniversary of Vietnam’s reunification.  Nearly 160 photographs, documents, and exhibits attract the special attention of the viewers. The posters displayed at the exhibition were issued in the former USSR, Cuba, Sweden, Finland, Hungary, Italy, and Germany to support Vietnam’s fight against the US before 1975. “Solidarity with the people of Vietnam” issued by the German Democratic Republic.   “Vietnam – we are always with you” issued by the Cuban Committee for Solidarity with the People of South Vietnam.   “Vietnam – Sweden is besides you,” released in Sweden.   The posters and flags of the German railway workers to support Vietnamese people.     In addition to posters, the exhibition also introduces many images of the anti-war movement and the support of a number of countries for Vietnam from 1954-1975. Slogans and gifts of international friends to Vietnam during the Vietnam War. The submachine gun presented by Fidel Castro to the Vietnamese armed forces in 1973. The tractor model presented to President Ho Chi Minh by Romanian workers in 1957.  This shirt is one of thousands of clothes presented to the Vietnamese people by the Bulgarian people.
