Muoi (Salt) Mount of the mountain range of Bach Moc Luong Tu is the highest peak (over 3,000 m) and is the natural border between the provinces of Lai Chau and Lao Cai. At altitudes of above 2,000 m on Muoi Mount, the perspective is spacious, where the scene is most beautiful. This is a dense, wet forest with a diverse ecosystem. To conquer Muoi Mount, it takes explorers three days and two nights. You can start from two places, one is in Sang Ma Sao commune, Bat Xat district, Lao Cai province and the other is Den Sung village in Sin Ho Commune, Phong Tho district, Lai Chau province. Winter is the best time for you to climb the mountain. On the peak of Muoi Mount is an ocean of clouds. The fairy scene is the reward for travellers.
