Around 73 photos and 160 issues were displayed at the exhibition, aiming to introduce to foreign visitors the good friendship relation between Vietnam and India.
Attending in the exhibition were Deputy Chairman of HCMC People’s Committee Le Thanh Liem, Ambassador of India to Vietnam Preeti Saran and the Indian Consul General in Ho Chi Minh City Smita Pant.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Ambassador Preeti Saran said: “India and Vietnam have had a cultural, economic links through many years and supported each other in struggling for nation’s peace and freedom”.
“Nowadays, two countries continue to strengthen strategic partnership in the fields of defense, trade, investment, education, human resource development, science and technology and human resource exchange”, added Ambassador Preeti Saran.
Deputy Chairman Le Thanh Liem hoped that the good relation between two countries will maintain and develop further.
