The 4th meeting session of Executive Board of PATA Viet Nam Chapter

In 2015, many activities of PATA Viet Nam Chapter attracted the enthusiastic participation of tourism businesses. The Chapter also focused on supporting tourism businesses and promoting Viet Nam tourism’s image.

PATA Viet Nam Chapter had informed timely to members about annual events of PATA such as forums, workshops, trade fairs…. In addition, PATA Viet Nam Chapter also coordinated with Viet Nam National Administration of Tourism (VNAT) to hold important tourism events to introduce Viet Nam to the world.

At the session, delegates suggested PATA Viet Nam Chapter should foster the support of members in areas of overseas tourism promotion; strengthening the connection between PATA and members; suggesting PATA to support marketing and promotion training…

Speaking at the session, Director General Nguyen Van Tuan emphasized Law on Tourism is an important legal foundation affecting directly to tourism businesses. Therefore, PATA Viet Nam Chapter and Viet Nam Society of Travel Agents (VISTA) should hold workshops to contribute ideas for revision of the Law; discussing policies on visa exemption for package-tour travelers to Viet Nam; strengthening the connection with PATA; welcoming international famtrips and presstrips to Viet Nam…
