Pond has 12 rare lotus species in Hanoi suburbs

The pond belongs to Mr. Nguyen Van Hanh, commonly known as “Hanh Lotus”, a farmer in the village of Ninh Xa, Ninh So commune, Thuong Tin district. Hanh has a great passion for lotus so he has spent a lot of money and time to collect 12 rare species. In this picture is the Quan Am (Goddess of Mercy) lotus. These lotuses have two colors, white and pink. The white and purple lotuses. Hue royal lotuses. White Quan Am lotuses. This lotus pond has become a tourist attraction. Hanh said he would expand the pond to 15,000 m2 and plant more rare lotus species.
