Congestion was worse on roads from Ha DongDistrict to the city center and on Nguyen Trai, Khuat Duy Tien, Le Van Luong, and Nguyen Xien streets.

To escape the crowds, many motorcycles struggled to find a way out by going back up the street for kilometers, making the situation worse.

Traffic jams on Nguyen Xien Road. Hundreds of motorcycles go back up the street. Khuat Duy Tien – Nguyen Trai – Nguyen Xien T-junction.  Le Van Luong Road. At 10am on Khuat Duy Tien Street. Some people drive on the grass cover under the overpass on Khuat Duy Tien Road.
