From the early morning, many women arrive at the wharf to wait for the fishing boats.

A husband and wife duo wake up at 3am to cook banh cuon (Vietnamese Steamed Rice Rolls) to sell in the early morning.

People in Ly Son Island use automatic watering systems to water onion fields at around 5am.



There are more fishing boats docking at the wharf at around 5:30am.



The joy showed on the fishermen’s faces when receiving a fine catch of fish



The sincere smiles of local women on the island



Motorbikes carry onions and garlic…



…. to boats that transport the Ly Son island’s specialities to the mainland.
