The peaceful village on Lake Lak shore

Jun is a village of the M’nông ethnic people who live in nha dai (houses on stilts).Foreign tourists are fond of the homestays where they can explore the natural life of the villagers. From the entrance to the village, you will immediately feel the peaceful atmosphere.The village has simple houses, including those selling groceries for tourists.   Most of people live on houses on stilts. Below they breed cattle and poultry. The village attract tourists who love a quiet place.   John, an American who stayed in the village for two days, said: “The scene here is very peaceful. I’ve turned off all electronic devices. The pictures are the only things I keep by my side. Definitely I will come back here with some friends of mine.” In this village, tourists fell close to nature. Local people use boats to transport crops and foods. Tourists can stroll around the village and can sit at a small tea shop on the lakeside. Lak Lake is a the largest natural freshwater lake in Dak Lak province and the second largest in Vietnam, after Ba Be Lake. Around the lake are mountains and primeval forests. The villagers often paddle boats from this shore to the other to exchange goods or serve tourists. In the early morning, you can enjoy the sunrise, watch women paddling in the soft light. In the afternoon you can go fishing, ride an elephant or chat with ethnic minority people.   Elephants are friends of the villagers. A tourist sitting on an elephant. The service price is VND300,000-VND600,000/hour/elephant. Each elephant carries 2-3 persons.
