In pictures: North Central Region in summer days

Summer days and temperatures in the the North Central Region are always at above 35 degrees Celsius. However, due to its location that is adjacent to the sea, this region always welcomes a lot of tourists during  summer. This  is a group of tourists sitting quietly at  the monument of the 10 girls at the  Dong Loc T-junction. The historical relics are in Dong Loc commune, Can Loc district, Ha Tinh province, located on the Ho Chi Minh Trail through the Truong Son mountain range.

This is also a good opportunity to learn more about indigenous life. Farmers are raking salt in a salt field in Thien Cam, Ha Tinh.

A group of visitors salute the flag at the 17th parallel, where split the country, on the northern bank of Ben Hai River, Quang Tri Province. There  are many monuments in this area,  including the Hien Luong bridge, the watchtowers of the former Saigon government in the south bank of the Ben Hai River and statues.

Apart from sea tourism, spiritual destinations also become part of the journey. Located in Vinh Truong Commune, Gio Linh District, Quang Tri, the Truong Son National Cemetery is the resting place of thousands of war martyrs. This is the largest cemetery in Vietnam.
