Gallery"s activities on the occasion of the 40th anniversary of establishing diplomatic relations (1975-2015) and 25 years of the cultural cooperation agreement signed between Vietnam and Germany, contributed to introducing Vietnamese historical and cultural value to German people through the unearthed treasures from the late Neolithic – metal period until 1945 during the Nguyen Dynasty.
These objects were selected from more than 10 different museums in Vietnam, reflecting the diverse cultures from north to south along the last relics excavated from the ruins of the Imperial Citadel of Thang Long.
Through exhibits, experts hope to bring to the public a more comprehensive spectacle over tens of thousands of years of history of Vietnam and contribute to strengthening introduction and promotion of the history and culture of Vietnam to international friends.
The exhibition "archaeological treasures of Vietnam" will be planned to take place from September 2016 to January 2018 at the venue: LWL- Museum of Archaeology in Herne, Archaeological Museum National Chemnitz, The Museum Reiss – Engelhorn Mannheim – Germany.
