Vietnam Culture Day celebrated in Rome
Vietnam Culture Day has attracted the attention of the Italian public at the Mercati di Traiano museum in Rome, Italy.
The event, held on June 24, featured a Vietnamese food festival and a fashion show presenting collections created by Italian and Vietnamese designers.
Co-organised by the Vietnamese Embassy in Italy and Roman authorities, it aimed to promote the Vietnamese culture, land and people to the European country.
Delivering a speech at the event, Vietnamese Ambassador to Italy Nguyen Hoang Long declared that Vietnam would continue to foster its strategic partnership with Italy for peace, stability and mutual benefits, since there was still a huge potential to tap into, particularly in the fields of economics, trade, culture and tourism.
The diplomat also expressed his appreciation for the huge support he has received from his host country during his tenure so far.
Pier Ferdinando Casini acknowledged Long’s contribution to the Vietnam-Italy relations, hoping that the diplomat would continue his outstanding service in times to come.-
